What can I bring in the salt cave?

Electronics are not permitted, as the salt can corrode electronics, such as smart watches and phones. It is recommended to drink water before and after, but not during the session.

What can I wear in the salt cave?

You may wear sandals, socks, or go barefoot, but regular shoes are not permitted, neither is nudity.

What is the temperature of the cave?

Between 68 and 72 degrees, so it can become chilly; therefore, blankets are permitted.

How many people are permitted inside the cave at one time?

There can be up to 10 people at a time within the cave.

Is salt therapy safe for everyone?

It is considered to be safe for almost anyone; however, those with infectious conditions, such as tuberculosis, a fever, or any other airborne disease, should not be in the chamber with other participants.

Can children go inside of the salt cave?

Children 14 and under require parental guidance to attend, while children 15-18 require parental consent to use.

Should I eat before I float?

Yes, eating is recommended before floating, because any time that is spent outside the tank is time spent out of your hour, so make sure to eat and use the restroom before beginning.

What if I am claustrophobic?

According to studies, 85% of people who report claustrophobia have stated that they felt no issues while inside the small tank, as it is not as limitless or expansive as the room within the tank.

What happens if I fall asleep?

It is perfectly safe to fall asleep while within the tank, as the salt content is so high, you will float right on top of the water, and will likely have the best nap of your life. 1 hour sleep inside the tank is considered to be 4 hours outside.

Can I float while menstruating?

Yes, as long as you are wearing a tampon, pad, or menstrual cup, you should be fine.

Can I float while pregnant?

Yes, women have used floatation for decades to relieve the pressure of pregnancy, and a float tank can also reduce stress. If you’re concerned about 1st trimester problems, you may consult your doctor before floating.

Can children float?

Children can use float tanks as long as they are supervised by an adult, or are 18 and up.

What should I do to prepare for my float?

Try not to have any caffeine for several hours before the float, as it will interfere with the ability to relax. Also, try not to shave or wax 36 hours beforehand.

Who should not float?

If you have tubes in your ears, unless your doctor says it is ok, have dyed your hair in the last 2 weeks, received a tattoo in the last 30 days, are incontinent, suffer from epilepsy, or have an infectious skin or respiratory disorder.

Do I need to make an appointment?

Yes, appointments are required. We also require a minimum of 24-hour notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. No shows or a failure to cancel/reschedule according to this policy will result in a charge for the scheduled service.

What is the difference between a traditional sauna and an infrared sauna?

A traditional sauna heats the air around you, while an infrared sauna has radiant heat that directly warms the body.

How often can I use an infrared sauna?
